Outer Planet started in 2014, when avid homebrewers decided to take the next step and open a brewery. We brew small batch craft beers and serve them in our space inspired taproom in the heart of Capitol Hill. We are dedicated to making the best beer possible, and we are committed to our community and neighborhood.

Our 10th anniversary beer! An imperial stout brewed in the style of a Black Forest Cake, with tart cherry and slight sweetness on the finish (8.9% - 24 IBUs)
13P Belgian Dubbel
A dark, rich Belgian Ale (7.5% - 12 IBUs)
9th Orbit (English Strong Ale)
Back from 2024, our 9th anniversary beer! A dark and malty English Strong Ale (8.2% - 21 IBUs)

Muscles From Brussels Belgian Golden Strong
A strong, slightly sweet, yet surprisingly easy to drink Belgian Golden Strong Ale (9.3% - 14 IBUs)
No Shucks Given Oyster Stout
Our latest winter creation, an Oyster Stout brewed with shells from Taylor Shellfish Farms (5.9% - 10 IBUs)
Pale Blue Dot
Our flagship NW Pale Ale, featuring Cascade and Mosaic hops (5.5% - 37 IBUs)
Sally Rye'd or Die Rye Brown Ale
Sally is back! Rye bread in a glass, this easy drinking brown ale has hints of paprika and caraway seed (5.4% - 35 IBUs)

We are open 7 days a week, and we are family and dog friendly. Indoor and outdoor (covered and heated) seating is available.
We have light snacks available, and you are welcome to bring your own food or order delivery to the taproom.
We regularly partner with local food pop-ups and Morfire Restaurant next door.
